Welcome to AKOYA MERAKI. By booking your stay with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a pleasant and seamless experience.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Reservations: All reservations must be confirmed through our website, email, or approved booking platforms.

1.2 Payment: Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rate plan selected. The remaining balance is due at check-in.

1.3 Accepted Payment Methods: We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified on our website.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

2.1 Check-In Time: 3:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

2.2 Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM. Late check-out requests must be arranged in advance and may incur additional charges.

2.3 Identification: Guests must present valid government-issued identification at check-in.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation:

• Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to arrival are eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations made 7–13 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival are non-refundable.

3.2 No-Show: Failure to check in without prior notice will result in the full reservation amount being charged.

4. Guest Responsibilities

4.1 Occupancy: Room rates are based on the specified number of guests. Additional guests may incur extra charges.

4.2 Quiet Hours: To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

4.3 Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited in rooms and common areas. A cleaning fee will be charged for violations.

4.4 Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the property or amenities during their stay and may be charged accordingly.

5. Amenities and Services

5.1 Included Amenities: Your stay includes air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, pool access, theater room use, and parking.

5.2 Special Requests: We strive to accommodate special requests (e.g., extra bedding) but cannot guarantee availability.

6. Safety and Security

6.1 Gated Property: For your safety, AKOYA MERAKI is a gated villa. Access is granted only to registered guests.

6.2 Valuables: Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings. AKOYA MERAKI is not liable for lost or stolen items.

7. House Rules

7.1 Pets: Pets are not allowed unless prior arrangements are made.

7.2 Pool Rules: Proper swimwear is required. No glassware is allowed near the pool area.

7.3 Property Use: The property is for lodging purposes only and may not be used for unlawful activities.

8. Force Majeure

AKOYA MERAKI is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government regulations.

9. Liability

Guests agree to indemnify AKOYA MERAKI and its staff from any claims or damages arising from their stay, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Colombian law. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction where the property is located.
